Residential rail: 1 in x 1-1/8 in x 1 in
Commercial rail: 1-1/4 in x 1-3/8 in x 1-1/4 in
Heavy industrial grade has no exposed screws either
The gate rolls instead of swinging, for openings from 4 ft to 120 ft wide. It suits sloping ground where a swing gate will not work. An enclosed guide wheel removes the pinch point.
No truss rods or cables to adjust
Conforms to ASTM F 1184-88
Every grade, style, height and color is special order. We confirm the lead time when you ask.
Not sure which grade or which section type you need? Tell us the job and we will match it.
Homeowners and contractors both buy here. Send your list or your drawing.
Standard flat sections go on relatively flat ground. Rackable sections go down steeper grades: the rails follow the slope while the pickets and posts stay vertical.
Flat sections on a slope have to step down, so each panel leaves a gap under its low end.
Drawing, not to scale. Rack means the pickets and posts stay vertical while the rails follow the ground.
Not sure which you need? Tell us about your slope before you order, and we will confirm the right type of section for each run.
Six standard styles on every grade, plus Lifegard on commercial grade, and nine standard colors. Tap a style or a color to see it larger.
Style drawings from the manufacturer. Every style is available on every grade.
Screen colors are close, not exact. The color chart on each product page shows the finishes.
Every grade comes in the colors above, including matte black and matte bronze.
Quad finials, tri-finials, butterfly scrolls and circles. They can be powder coated to match your fence or ordered in a gold finish.
On residential and commercial grade, ask at the time of order and the bottom rail is lowered to the bottom of the pickets at no extra charge.
Line, corner and end posts. A blank post takes no sections and is most often the hinge or latch post next to the house. A 3-way post takes sections on three sides. Each post comes with a standard flat cap, and ball caps are available.
Single entry and double drive gates match each style. Estate and Curved Top gates are available too. All gates include a standard key-lockable latch and self-closing hinges, and self-latching hardware is available on request. See gate hardware for latches and drop bolts.
Aluminum sections are 6 ft wide. We round up to a whole section. This counts posts for a straight run. Corners, ends and gates change the count. Send us your drawing and we will work out the full list.
Match the grade to the job. Residential is the neighbor-friendly choice. Commercial suits light commercial sites. Industrial suits heavy commercial and industrial sites. Heavy industrial is for jobs where strength and security are required. Tell us the job and we will confirm the grade.
Standard sections have a finished side and a screw side, so one face shows screws. If you do not want to see them, choose Avalanche rails or the heavy industrial grade. For a side-by-side look at the materials, read our guide to aluminum vs steel fence.

Standard heights run from 3 ft up to 6 ft on residential and commercial grade, and up to 10 ft on industrial and heavy industrial. Your city and your HOA set the limit, so check both first. Our guide to fence height rules and our HOA fence guide show how.
