Line voltage runs at 110v from mains rather than a transformer, which gives the brightest and most consistent output of the three power types. It suits larger areas and commercial settings where low voltage would need several transformers.

Before you order

Mains wiring outdoors is electrician work in most cases, so factor that in rather than treating it like a low voltage run. If you want to install it yourself, low voltage is the more realistic option.
