Aurora Rail Lighting

Rail lights mount on or under the rail rather than on top of a post, so they wash light down onto the walking surface. On stairs that is a genuine safety fixture rather than decoration.

The range

Vega is a solid cast aluminum step light for stairs and walkways. Nebula and Phoenix install flush for clean rail and stair lighting in a compact body. Odyssey is a strip that creates a continuous curtain of light under rails, steps and soffits instead of separate points.

Before you order

Measure the rail run before ordering strip lighting, which is sold by length. Fit stair fixtures while the risers are accessible, because retrofitting them into a finished staircase is far harder.

For lights on top of the post instead, see post top lighting. Full Aurora range.
