Description
The Vega is a solid cast aluminum funnel light with a bright LED bulb, made to light steps, walkways and stairways from the side rather than from above.
Sizes and finishes
The Vega measures 3-1/4 inches wide by 2-1/4 inches high by 1-3/4 inches deep. The Mini-Vega is 1-3/4 inches wide by 1-3/8 inches high. Both come in black, white and bronze, and both run on low voltage.
Where it goes
The Vega is designed to be seen from above rather than head on, so it belongs at ankle and knee height: step risers, the base of a stair run, or low on a post beside a walkway. Mounted higher it shines into the eye rather than onto the ground.
Before you order
Use the full size Vega on a post or an open step, and the Mini-Vega where the fixture would dominate a narrow riser or slim rail post. Cast aluminum takes a knock better than a moulded fixture, which matters at ankle height.
