Description
Odyssey is strip lighting rather than a point fixture. It creates a continuous curtain of light beneath deck rails, stair rails, steps, soffits, patio covers, gazebos or the underside of a deck.
What is in the kit
Each kit contains four LED strips, available in 18, 24, 36 and 48 inch lengths, plus installation wire, connectors, an LED driver box with timer, and a remote. The bulbs throw a 120 degree beam.
Where a strip beats a spot
Strip lighting suits any run where you want a continuous line rather than a rhythm of points: under a rail, along a fascia, beneath a bench or around a patio cover. Where you need to mark a specific spot such as a step edge, a dedicated riser fixture does the job better.
Before you order
Measure the full run including returns around corners, because a kit is sized to a length and joining short offcuts shows as a break in the line. Tuck the strip behind a rail or fascia so the light shows and the fitting does not, and keep the driver box dry and reachable since it holds the timer and remote receiver.
