Description
Since the enclosed top rail is 2-1/2” wide x 4” high, you may wish to have this constructed as a 3’6” high system, and then have Elite’s ADA grab rail mounted at each post along the mid-rail. This will allow people in commercial and industrial areas the ability to hold onto the grab rail while walking up and down steps. The enclosed bottom rail is a 1-1/2” wide x 1” high rectangle.
This style is available in heights of 3’ and 3’6”, fully assembled flat and stair section widths of 2’, 4’, and 6’ wide, ¾” square pickets with 3-3/4” picket spacing, in 2-Rail or 3-Rail, and in Elite’s seven standard colors of Black, Black Matte, Quaker Bronze, Quaker Bronze Matte, White, Beige and Hartford Green. If you prefer, optional ¾” x 1” rectangular and ¾” round pickets are also available, along with matching gates in standard widths of 3’, 3’6”, and 4’ wide. Ball caps to fit any size post you choose are also an option when choosing a non-continuous version of this style.
Elite offers standard 2”, 2-1/2”, 3”, and 4” square posts that are optimal for using in installations requiring core-drilling into concrete, and also offers these same sized posts as “Screw Boss with Flange Plate” posts which allows you to secure a flange plate to the bottom of the post. The flange plate can then be secured to concrete, wood, or other surfaces by using the appropriate anchors. Decorative flange covers are available for all sized posts to cover the flange plates.
